Air Panas hot springs are located in the hills of Banjar village, surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The water, considered "holy" by the locals, has a pleasant temperature of 38° Celsius and is slightly sulfurous.

Buddhist temple

Brahma Vihara Arama, Bali’s single Buddhist monastery is just 1.5 kilometers away from the hot springs. Ideal to pause for a few moments. A very impressive, peaceful place. For entering, a sarong is required, for a small donation provided at the entrance gate.

Ready for a swim? Singsing waterfall might not be the tallest or most popular, but it is definitely great fun to visit and not far from the villa.

Mayong cultural walk

An outstanding experience for everyone who is wanting to learn about the local culture, vegetation, tropical plants and rice farming. After the 2.5 hours easy walk with the charming guide Putu, you know more about the "real Bali" then you can find in books and travel guides. Trekking to Aling Aling Waterfall

This waterfall tumbles over a 35-meter cliff in two side-by-side streams flowing at completely different speeds—making it one of the most unique waterfalls in Bali. Visitors enjoy swimming in its pools, sliding down its natural water slide and leaping into the water from various heights.

Pura Beji Temple

8km east of Singaraja. One of the most beautiful temples on the island of Bali and still rarely visited by tourists. The temple was built in the 15th century during the Majapahit period and is considered to be one of the oldest temples in Bali. It is dedicated to the goddess Dewi Sri who protects the irrigated rice fields.

East of Singaraja, beautiful walk and swim in unspoilt countryside, 2,3 or 4 hour walk. Very few tourist there.

Bedegul Botanic Gardens

Unique in Bali as a place for botanical research, conservation, education, and recreation. More than 2000 species of plants are preserved at Bali Botanic Garden, located in Baturiti district, Tabanan Regency, 1240 meters above sea level (can be chilly and wet here).

Ulun Danu Temple is set at lakeside of Beratan with beautiful lake view and hills surrounding it.

Bedegul Market

A traditional fruit and vegetable market. This market provides fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, and exotic flowers such as delicate orchids and roses that are neatly displayed creating an array of wonderful colors.

Giant Tree

700+ years old Banyan tree. The tree is huge by any standards, it measures 85m high and is said to have reached 115m at one time and measures 70 metres in diameter, it is a maze of roots that tower above, this leave access so that you can actually walk inside the tree. To be found at a village called 'Gesing', approximately 20km south east of Seririt, head towards Munduk.

Gitgit Waterfall

On the way or way back from Bedegul. This is the most famous waterfall in Bali. Not far from the waterfall itself there is a place for taking a rest while enjoying the beautiful panorama of rice terraces and Buleleng beach. To visit the Gitgit waterfall, all visitors will follow the walkway down until the spotting point. All 3 series of cascades are on the same watershed.

Golf

At the Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club (18 holes) in the mountain area of Bedugul at the Bratan Lake. It is one of the top 5 golf locations in Asia. You can golf here at temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees. The course was designed by the renowned architect Peter Thompson and is the only course in the whole world located in a volcano. It is also a nice place to stop for a drink if you are in the Bedegul area.

Jatiluwih rice terraces

The rice terraces of Jatiluwih are rightly among the most impressive and beautiful ones in Bali. They are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set in a mountainous landscape (700 meters above sea level), many vantage points offer a view over the endless rice terraces down to the sea.

Penglipuran Village

Penglipuran is one of the most placid, clean, and serene village throughout the whole nation, and one of the three cleanest in the whole world. Being untouchable by modernization (you can't even park your vehicles inside!), the village’s atmosphere and the immaculate gardens surrounding them are an exceptionally authentic experience, from its majestic and mythical culture to high hospitability of the locals.

LOVINA

A dive site is located right in front of the door. The reef is well covered and drops to about 30 meters.

PEMUTERAN

The Pemuteran area is not only famous for the nearby Menjangan Island, but also for its non-crowded home reefs in Pemuteran Bay. These include dive sites such as the underwater temple garden and the BioRock project directly in front of the beach. Napoleon reef and Coral Garden offer an opportunity to see bigger animals like whale sharks, eagle rays and reef sharks.

MENJANGAN ISLAND 

Menjangan or Deer island is located in the northwest corner of Bali and part of the Taman National Bali Barat park. Many divers consider the island to have some of the healthiest, most spectacular coral reefs and wall dives in Bali. Visibility is generally good and conditions mild, making it suitable for all levels of divers as well as snorkelers. You will have a chance to see turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays, nudibranchs, frogfish and much more.
