Shopping in North Bali

The north coast is not the shopper's paradise. If you are looking for international brands you should spend some time in the south (or in Ubud).

Beach traders are rare and very friendly.  Always negotiate, but only if you intend to buy! (If the seller accepts your offer you are expected to purchase). Pearls are not from Bali, they are most probably from China and are in fact fresh water pearls but very nice and good value if you negotiate. Copy watches and sunglasses are fun but check if everything works. Sarongs are good quality and value.

Supermarkets

Many small supermarkets on the way to Lovina Beach including new big supermarket PEPITO with an impressive selection of western food&non food. Nice bread, cheese, meat, fruit and wine selection.

Next to Pepito is ALCOVINA - a new modern wine and spirits shop with a large selection of local and international wines and spirits. Home delivery available.

Singaraja:

Carrefour is (for Singaraja) quite a large mall with a food and non-food departement.  Together with a smaller Hardy's supermarket, these are the largest malls in the area.
